Welcome to CineFR. By using the app or cinefr.com you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept them, please do not use CineFR.
1. THE SERVICE
CineFR is a free app for tracking films and series, sharing them with friends and discovering new titles. There are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or paid features.
2. AGE
You must be at least 13 years old. Where your country requires a higher minimum age for processing personal data (16 in several European countries), that age applies instead. If you are under 18, use CineFR with the consent of a parent or guardian.
3. ACCOUNT
- You can sign in with Google, with Apple, or with an email address and password.
- If you register with an email address you must confirm it; unconfirmed accounts cannot enter the app.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Tell us if you notice unauthorised access.
- One account per person.
4. THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
- Film, series and people data comes from The Movie Database (TMDB). Accuracy and availability depend on TMDB; CineFR gives no guarantee about it.
- Trailers are shown through the embedded YouTube player and are subject to YouTube's policies.
- The terms and privacy policies of those services also apply to you.
5. YOUR CONTENT
- You are responsible for the reviews, notes, messages, lists and ratings you create.
- You keep ownership of your content. You give us a limited permission to use it only to run the service: to store it, to show it to the people you share it with, and to translate it when you ask for a translation.
- Harassment, hate speech, deliberately misleading information, copyright infringement and unlawful content are prohibited.
6. MODERATION AND SUSPENSION
- Use the in-app Report and Block tools to flag content that bothers you and to block any user.
- Reported content is reviewed within 24 hours. Content that breaks these Terms is removed and the account may be suspended.
- A suspended account cannot enter the app. You can appeal by writing to support@cinefr.com.
- We do not pre-screen content, but we reserve the right to review anything reported to us.
7. PROHIBITED USE
- Accessing the service with bots, scrapers or other automated tools
- Copying, selling or distributing the app commercially
- Attempting to bypass security measures
- Attempting to access other people's accounts
- Reverse engineering or extracting the source code
- Any use that breaks applicable law
8. CHANGES, MAINTENANCE AND TERMINATION
- Features may change, be limited or be discontinued.
- The service may be closed temporarily for maintenance; when that happens the app shows a notice explaining it.
- In critical situations, such as a security fix, older app versions may be blocked and an update required before the app can be used.
- Accounts that break these Terms may be closed.
- You can delete your own account at any time from Settings.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, CineFR is not liable for indirect damages arising from service interruptions, data loss, or errors in content supplied by TMDB or YouTube. This limitation does not apply where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, including intent, gross negligence, and injury to life or health.
10. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The interface, design and original code of CineFR belong to CineFR. TMDB data and logos belong to TMDB; YouTube content belongs to Google.
11. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye.
If you use CineFR as a consumer, the mandatory rights given to you by the consumer law of your own country remain unaffected — this choice of law does not take them away from you.
Disputes may be brought before the courts of Istanbul; consumers may also bring proceedings before the competent courts where they live. Consumers in Türkiye may additionally apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committees.
12. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms. Significant changes are announced inside the app and the "Last updated" date above is changed. Continuing to use CineFR after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. TMDB AND COPYRIGHT
- This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
- Posters, stills and other artwork belong to the respective producers, distributors and studios. CineFR claims no rights over that material and shows it only to identify a title.
- Rights holders can send an infringement notice to support@cinefr.com, stating the work, the screen or link where it appears, and evidence of ownership.
14. LANGUAGE
These Terms are published in English, Turkish, Spanish and French. If you use CineFR in another interface language, the English version is shown and applies.
