Informativa sui cookie

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains the cookies, local storage and similar technologies CineFR uses on cinefr.com and in the app, and the choices you have about them. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

WHAT COUNTS AS A COOKIE HERE

We use this term broadly, for browser cookies, browser local storage and mobile app local storage alike — anything that stores a small piece of information on your device so it can be read back later.

STRICTLY NECESSARY

These keep the service working and cannot be switched off.

• Firebase Authentication session token — keeps you signed in.
• Theme and interface language preference — remembered on your device so you don't have to set them again.

ANALYTICS AND CRASH REPORTS

Firebase Analytics records which screens you open and which actions you take, using local storage identifiers; Firebase Crashlytics records technical details if the app closes unexpectedly. Neither is used for advertising. If you connect from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, both wait for your consent before they start; elsewhere they are on by default and you can turn them off. Disabled entirely in development builds regardless of region.

EMBEDDED VIDEO

Trailers play through YouTube's privacy-enhanced embed (youtube-nocookie.com), operated by Google. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it also waits for your consent before loading.

ADVERTISING

CineFR shows no advertising today and sets no advertising cookies or identifiers. If that changes, this policy will be updated and you will be told in the app before any advertising appears.

HOW TO CHANGE YOUR CHOICE

Go to Settings → Cookie preferences at any time to turn analytics, crash reporting and the embedded player on or off. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's own settings, though doing so may affect features that rely on staying signed in.

THIRD PARTIES

• Google / Firebase — authentication, analytics, crash reporting: policies.google.com/privacy
• YouTube — trailers: youtube.com/t/terms

CHANGES

This policy may be updated. Significant changes are announced in the app, and the date at the top always shows the last update.

LANGUAGE

This policy is published in English, Turkish, Spanish and French. In any other interface language the English version is shown and applies.
